Michael was in bits, trying to figure out what to do with his life. He admitted to Father Dominic that he has strong feelings for Kelly Marie and eventually Fr Dom told him to do whatever he liked - he's given up trying to save him from himself. So, Michael headed for the café, where KM's got herself a wee job as she gets herself back together, but all she could talk about was how single she is and how long she's going to stay that way because, frankly, boys are rubbish. Perhaps a bad time for a declaration of love, Michael headed to Versus to get very, very drunk.
Carly was driving Deek round the bend as he was more and more distracted by George's illness. He didn't tell her what was going on but made it clear he's just not interested. But it's too late for grudges and George forgave him. Tina urged Paul to admit to Eddie about the fires but it was Scott who made Eddie see how difficult he's being with the boys - that paved the way for the truth to came out. It was an emotional chat as Paul confessed to his anger at his parents' split and his father's new relationship.
A distraught Ruth was hiding from Marty at Gerry and Scott's. Sworn to secrecy, they pretended they didn't know where she was but Marty was frantically trying to find her. He threw Iona out when she came to see how he was and it wasn't until Gerry took pity on him he found out where Ruth was. Not surprisingly, she didn't take his arrival at the flat very well. Marty and Scott ended up physically fighting about it but it was all too much poor Ruth - she collapsed and asked for an ambulance. Is it the baby?
