Alice was worried sick about her Dad while Raymond tried to tell her there was no point worrying. George's brother Robert turned up for a reunion - the pair haven't spoken for years. They reminisced about their childhood but Robert was angry and wanted to know why George was just getting in touch now. When he told him the truth - he's dying - they had an emotional hug and all seemed well until Robert realised he had family he didn't even know about and stormed off, disgusted that he had been ignored for all these years. Meanwhile, Alice turned to vodka to help dull the pain of her father's illness.
Kelly-Marie bumped into Father Michael and was shocked to hear his news. He told her he has to follow his true feelings. Michael mentioned to Catherine that Dominic thought there was a woman involved in his decision and when Kelly-Marie's name popped up, Catherine put two and two together. As she prepared to leave Shieldinch, she asked Kelly-Marie to keep an eye on him, to look after him for her. Father Dominic feared he'd let Michael down, he'd forced him to stay in the priesthood longer than he wanted to but he refused to accept his decision to turn against God, to reject his calling. Kelly-Marie was disturbed by a text from Andrew saying he's "coming to get you".
Gerry invited Scott to move into Heather's flat until she gets back from Australia, thus leaving Marty and Ruth to enjoy their new home together. But will they really? Marty caught sight of Iona flirting with a guy in the pub, and promptly warned him off, telling him she's taken! Why can't he just make up his mind?! Jo was upset and told Ruth she couldn't bear it if she hated her but she wouldn't elaborate. Meanwhile, doting father Billy had a shock in store - he found his baby's passport (he didn't even know the baby was called Romeo until then!) and his birth certificate, naming Luca as the father. As Jo went about her business, he tried to carry on as normal but was horrified to see Jo and Luca together, planning their escape.
