Fr Dominic took Fr Michael's news badly - he was angry and refused to accept his decision. Michael used to feel guilty about Catherine but now she's forgiven him he realises he gets no peace from the priesthood. Dominic had a go at Catherine, accusing her of ruining his career. He's a mess! She accused him of treating Michael like a pet project and told him to stop pulling him back to the church. Iona put on a brave front, pretending to her concerned sisters that she thinks she's lucky to be shot of Marty. Even Susie was concerned about her, asking her about what was happening the other day. Iona put it down to a silly argument and claimed to be fine.
Alanna fretted about telling the truth about her past to Liam. Roisin suggested she keeps it to herself for now and invited Liam over for tea to get to know him better. But as Roisin pressed him with questions about his parents, he clammed up, made his excuses and left. It didn't spoil anything with Alanna though - it seems they're both keeping their own secrets for now. In a bid to tie up loose ends, George asked Raymond to contact his brother Robert. He's not spoken to him for years but George needs to make amends. Robert was shocked by Raymond's call but agreed to pay a visit the following week. Alice was upset by all the talk of George's death, feeling left out as the rest of the family found a role in looking after him.
Scott was left out again as Eddie, Tina and the boys played happy families. When Harry found a lighter in Paul's pencil case and told Scott he suspected the boy of starting the fires, Scott wasn't surprised but really reluctant to talk to Eddie about it. Eddie, not surprisingly, refused to acknowledge the possibility and walked out on Scott.
