Harry brought Eddie the news that there'd been a fire at Tina's - everyone was okay but they were getting checked out at hospital. That ruined Scott and Eddie's plans for the day. Eddie went running off to look after his family, inviting them to stay with him while the house gets sorted. Tina was devastated, sure the fire must've been her fault. Paul, meanwhile, looked really smug. What's he up to? George stumbled and was sick, and Nicki was really troubled by it. He tried to make wedding plans with Shirley but it's clear his big ideas of a honeymoon in Venice just can't happen. Shirley admitted she'd spoken to Jessica. George was sorry but he wanted her to remember him as happy. In truth he's angry and terrified. He broke down - he doesn't want to die.
Kelly-Marie admitted it's boring at home but still wouldn't talk about Andrew. And she saw Father Michael coming out the tube, with a woman! Fr Dominic was angry and confused to find Father Michael back, with Catherine, the woman who Michael fell for in the past. She insisted she's here as a friend, to support Michael - he's decided to leave the priesthood. Jimmy was avoiding studying for his cabbie exam, instead preferring to exchange racing tips with Susie's dad! Carly was grumpy while Alanna and Liam were all over each other. While Carly worked, the others all had drinks at Zoe's but Carly was very unimpressed not to have had an official invite. She dragged Deek out the party, leaving the rest to bitch about her. Liam happily agreed with Alanna to take things slowly but they're getting closer every day.
Jo was unimpressed that Billy had asked Marty and Ruth to be godparents and by his plans to have a party to celebrate the birth but was happy to leave him holding the baby while she sneaked out to see Luca. As they dealt with Romeo's birth certificate and passport, Della saw Luca acting very unlike a brother to Jo! She tried to broach the subject with Billy but he just said the Rossi family were very close. Iona went mad as Marty acted like nothing had happened, he told her to get over it. Iona couldn't stop crying about Marty - she's sure she didn't imagine that he cared, his cruel behaviour is making her doubt her sanity. She loves him. Shona told him a few home truths - she knows what he's like cos she's used to be married to a man just like him. She warned him to keep well away from Iona! He didn't though - he raged round to see her and threatened her, holding her by the throat. We don't know what would've happened if Susie hadn't interrupted
