Iona was hungover but put a brave face on her split with Marty. Not convinced, Roisin and Shona tried to help her. Marty was getting more panicky that she'd spill the beans so made Gerry go with him to see her at Versus. She felt like they really had something and how could he walk away?! Susie interrupted her domestic drama and gave Iona a final warning. Marty even talked about coming clean to Ruth but Gerry talked him out of it. Two very happy parents - Jimmy and Scarlet - brought wee Madonna home. After their first night together, Charlie set off for the airport, to go to her family reunion in Chicago. Scarlett convinced Bob to chase after her and he told her he didn't want her to go. She said she's stay if her asked her to but he couldn't do it - it was too good an opportunity to miss. She promised she'd be back soon.

Nicki was finding George's news hard to take and Raymond wasn't sure he could cope so soon after losing Kirsty. Shirley felt betrayed that George had hidden his illness from her - he'd turned to Jessica instead of her, and she was angry Fi knew and didn't tell her. She was clinging to any glimmer of hope he'd survive but he admitted he doesn't have long left.

Luca's return made Gina very happy indeed but he didn't want to talk about the 'family' he supposedly ran away from Shieldinch to be with. He said they'd split up but wouldn't say anything more. Archie laid into him and told him to keep away from everyone but Luca turned it back on him and told him he had more to lose. Jo was thrown completely off track by his arrival. They had a very emotional chat but while Luca laid his cards on the table, explained he loves her and wants her back, Jo refused to confirm his suspicions that he's her baby's father. She ended up throwing him out and broke down in tears.
