Niamh put more pressure on Archie once she found out he doesn't own his house. She's decided to charge him £1000 a day while she's waiting on her money! Archie's got plans of his own - he's drugging his mum to make her sleep, adding more fuel to the fire she's unwell. Talking of flames, Paul smugly burned a parcel intended for Scott and Jamie was left, unhappily covering for him.

George's clandestine meetings with Jessica aroused Shirley's suspicions again and when Fi tried to help (by having a completely inappropriate chat with Jessica) she made matters worse. Shirley's now sure something's up and she's furious with Fi. George, meanwhile, is all set to propose to Shirley over Christmas and nothing will convince him to tell her about his illness first.
