Niamh continued to harass Archie. He gave her £50000 but it's not enough - she threatened to crush him with one phone call if he didn't pay her more. Fi hasn't a clue what's going on but she was horrified to see a jailbird lawyer at the office. George worked through details of his will with Fi but refused to tell her why he was doing it. Fi told Shirley she's worried about Alice - she thinks she's going to turn to drink again - but Alice insisted she's fine and Fi's just annoyed with her. Then she annoyed Fi when she rudely interrupted a chat between Fi and Susie.

Marty decided to celebrate winning a business deal (thanks to Iona's donation of champagne) with a night in a 5 star hotel. Obviously, not with his wife, though! He told Iona, who freaked out a little at their relationship not being as casual as it was but she soon came round. Ruth didn't though - she tried to get him to stay but business comes first and his night of networking had to go ahead. If he had stayed he might've been around to hear her news - Ruth's pregnant!

Now he's been proved innocent, Liam went to see Raymond (with a lot of pushing from Alanna and Father Dominic) who happily gave him his job back. Bob couldn't figure out why Charlie had lied to him but she didn't have much of an answer for him. She wanted to sleep with someone just to get it out the way at long last but she hadn't lied to him - she'd hoped his idea of Liam forcing her was true to ease her guilt. She tried talking to Bob about it but she ended up walking out. He couldn't find the words to stop her.
