Liam worried that everyone would believe Charlie, while Father Dominic tried to help but pointed out Liam shouldn't have been in that situation anyway! Things got worse when Liam turned up for work, only to be turned away by Raymond, convinced of his guilt. Only Alanna seemed to give him the benefit of the doubt. Liam was all set to leave town but Father Dominic pointed out he wouldn't clear his name if he walked away… Charlie was fed up with people fussing and wouldn't follow Bob's advice and go to the police.

George's mood swings were getting out of hand. He snapped at Nicki, turned down work in the cab and accidentally spilt boiling water, hurting Nicki. Shirley was confused and annoyed with him, as he became more and more withdrawn. Shona decided to leave Shieldinch - she couldn't hang around and rub her sister's nose in her relationship with Raymond. He was desperate to stop Shona leaving and asked Roisin to help. Roisin admitted she still loves him, but they both agreed it was over between them. Eventually, it was Alanna who talked Roisin into saving the day - Shona's staying - but Roisin's not rushing any sisterly bonding.

Alice tried to make friends with Fi but she was very cautious.
