Liz convinced Gina they should go for a spin in Archie's car but he wasn't happy to find his car missing. They told him Gina needed lessons and her own car and, amazingly, he agreed (like it was his idea all along)! Then Gina and Liz had a nice night in with Malcolm and Jo but Archie came back and spoiled the mood… warranting a few choice words from his mother. Eileen and Raymond decided Liam should be trusted with cashing up but that trust soon disappeared. Alanna kept flirting with him until he agreed to a drink. She kept pushing him for attention but he told her he wanted to keep his job and they should stay friends. When she pushed further, he snapped. He grabbed her and kissed her, scaring her until Carly stopped him.

Raymond went mad and wouldn't accept that "he was just doing it to stop her". It looks like Liam's time at the Ship is up… George continued to struggle with the news of his brain tumour and seemed keen to enjoy every minute of what he has left. Nicki found him upset but he claimed to be crying about Kirsty. Raymond told him about Shona but was surprised when he told him to go for it! Raymond and Shona admitted they think about each other all the time but Shona was worried they'd have to leave town in order to be together. She's just not sure what to do. Marty and Iona had another wee liaison but Marty wasn't happy when Ruth was mentioned. Gerry spotted them together and warned Marty but he insists he loves his wife and is only doing it so he's happy, which in turn makes Ruth happy!!

Shona and Iona's bickering got too much for Roisin and she demanded to know what was going on. To start with they pretended it wasn't important but soon the truth was out. Shona told Roisin about Marty and Iona's affair and that it's not the first time Iona's had an affair with a married man! She was the reason Shona split from her ex, Tony… she didn't think Shona knew. To get her own back, Iona blurted out that Shona's slept with Raymond. Roisin was angry and threw Shona out - she never wants to see her again…
