Alice was mortified about kissing Fi but when Fi tried to talk to her about it, to salvage their friendship, Alice accused her of leading her on. Convinced she's in love with Fi, she blamed her for the situation. Shirley eventually wangled the truth out of Fi and despite promising not to jump to Alice's defence, she did just that. Alanna told Deek to open his eyes and see that Carly fancies him. He started to see her in a different light and tried to ask her out. She played hard to get but it's clear they're both happy with this turn of events!
Paul continued to cause trouble - he spilled juice all over Scott's work and then fought with Jamie, teased him about appearing gay, and punched him in the nose. When Eddie confronted him about the juice, Paul pretended he couldn't help doing all this stuff cos he just gets so angry. Aye, right! Scott and Eddie had just fallen for his sob story when Jamie turned up with his bloody nose and admitted to Eddie that it was his brother's doing. Marty and Iona continued to flirt but their plans for another wee liaison at Heather's flat were disrupted when Ruth dragged him to the pub with Jo and Billy. Marty apologised to Iona and she's giving him a rare second chance. It looks like Susie has an idea what's going on
Billy asked Ruth for advice about Jo cos she doesn't seem to be enjoying her pregnancy. Ruth told him there was nothing to worry about and her behaviour is only natural. If only he knew! Scarlett's first scan went well and she started to look forward to having her baby. Bob broke the news to his mum that he and Charlie have found a flat together and will be moving out. She got upset but she looked secretly relieved. Bob was worried at her reaction and persuaded Jimmy to find out what's wrong but Jimmy's not-so-gentle approach wound Scarlett up the wrong way and she couldn't tell him the truth. He stormed off and she worried again about bringing up baby alone.
