Scarlett struggled to get used to the news of her pregnancy - Gina helped her feel better about it but Scarlett is keeping her news to herself until after her scan. Eventually she admitted to a shocked Gina that Jimmy's the father. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Tina arranged to go for a friendly-drink-not-a-date together. Jamie lied to his dad, saying Paul had gone to school already even though he'd left his school bag hidden at the flat. Eddie was impressed and reckoned his suspension had helped him turn over a new leaf. What planet do you live on, Eddie?!

Iona visited Marty at work, refused to listen to his protests that their liaison was a mistake, and put an interesting offer his way - she's got keys to Heather's flat so they can be alone. Marty was nearly tempted but managed to resist at the last minute. Fed up with Deek's rose-tinted view of Iona, Carly encouraged him to ask Iona out. He was set for a fall though as Iona was distracted by Marty and bluntly told Deek she didn't fancy him. Alanna flirted with Liam, convinced he fancies her, but he overheard her talking about him and left her, drunk and embarrassed.

Billy's fussing continued to drive Jo mad and a conversation with Ruth about babies made her think again about Luca. She asked Archie if he would help her contact him but he flatly refused, harshly accusing her of being selfish. She turned up at Ruth's, distraught, and confirmed Ruth's suspicion that the baby isn't Billy's. But there was no way she was going to admit the identity of the real father - it would tear too many people apart. Worse than that, she confessed she doesn't want the baby.
