Ruth had a lot of apologising to do to Marty after her outburst. Little did she know he had a lot to apologise for too! Not surprisingly, he kept quiet about his liaison with Iona. Ruth explained she just wishes she could give him a baby, and she's scared of losing him. They tried to have a nice meal to celebrate their anniversary but Marty was obviously troubled. Marty was flustered when he told Iona to forget anything had happened. She played it cool, as ever. She also nicked Heather's keys from Susie and got copies made! Zoe was happy socialising with her new Uni pals but Alanna didn't fit in.

Scott helped Jamie with his art homework and they bonded, much to Paul's disgust. Eddie and Tina tried to talk some sense into him - they were so ashamed by his suspension. He'd been bullying a kid he thought was gay. Tina was very forthright and told him she loved him but sometimes didn't like him. He'd have to accept the situation. Roisin admitted to Shona that she'd seen something which made her realise her and Raymond were definitely over. Shona tried to talk to Raymond but he couldn't deal with it. He and Eileen seemed close - they had no regrets about spending the night together but Raymond decided he needed to get some time away. Shona spotted him leaving, saying goodbye tenderly to Eileen.

Gina had to take money from Archie cos the bank hadn't send through her new card yet… or so she thought. Archie was smug that he was in control and hid joint pension papers from her. Gina went for a bit of a shaky test drive in a wee car at Bob's garage but decided to buy it. She was really excited until she discovered there was no money in her bank account! Someone has some explaining to do, or as Gina put it ""Somebody's made a mistake alright… the biggest mistake of his life!"
