Gina and Liz continued to find their living arrangement less than perfect but they realised it wasn't easy for the other so began to try to compromise. They were even in cahoots when Gina talked about buying a car - both agreed she needed her independence from Archie… although how easy can that be when he's pocketed her bank card and is transferring money without her knowledge? Eileen was busying herself, determined to keep it together until the funeral, while Shona tried to comfort Raymond. George was grieving over Kirsty's death but was actually happy when Shirley passed on a present from Fi - a Guardian Angel pin that had helped her when Helen died.

Jo seemed less than happy about her pregnancy and Billy kept fussing. Tina empathised with Ruth, who'd done a test and discovered she's not pregnant. Ruth caught sight of Marty feeling the baby kick but that should be the least of her worries as Iona continued to flirt with her husband. Scarlett fretted about her health and eventually went to see a doctor. She didn't feel any better when she was told it could indeed be the menopause. Gina agreed to go with her for her test results the following week.

Scott finally told Eddie about the harassment he was getting from Paul but Paul had his alibi all worked out - he claimed his mobile was stolen the previous week. This satisfied Eddie and Paul made it look like he was fine with Scott. Eddie may be the policeman but Scott was clever enough to call the phone he'd been getting the abusive texts from… only to hear it ringing from Paul's PE bag. Eddie had better eat his words!
