Ruth and Billy found out that Jo's not been attending ante-natal classes and they went mad! She gave a lame excuse but Ruth used her nurse connections to get a last-minute appointment and dragged her to the hospital. She got the all-clear but was advised not to be on her feet too much. Jimmy and Bob worried about Scarlett's behaviour but got nowhere when they tried to talk to her. "Go and worry about the third world!" She admitted to Gina she hadn't been to the doctor and she was scared it was 'The Change".

Shona worried about Raymond and Iona's teasing didn't go down well. Roisin went to help out at the Ship and Shona felt a bit out of place. Paul stole money from his dad but if that wasn't bad enough he also got hold of Scott's number and started sending abusive text messages. Then he put his dad on the spot decided to stay the night at Eddie's, thus spoiling his plans for the night.Scott started flat-hunting but planned to move in with Eddie eventually. George collapsed! He insisted he was fine, it was just a dizzy spell and refused to see a doctor.

Gina and Archie set up a joint bank account, which Archie insisted would be a sensible thing to do. He'd look after all their finances. Liz, in a rare bout of helpfulness, tried to warn Gina it might make her lose her independence (that's how Liz felt with her husband) but Gina wouldn't listen. Eileen was obviously devastated by her daughter's death - Father Dominic tried to make her feel better but she blamed herself for driving Kirsty away.
