Liam started work at The Grill but he didn't say much so Eileen and Raymond were unimpressed. He turned Zoe and Alanna's heads though and it looked like he might've flirted a wee bit with Alanna! Deek was suffering after his drunken night out with Iona but his memory was suffering too and he nearly fell for her teasing when she suggested they'd become more than just drinking partners… Again, Carly saved the day and spoiled Iona's fun. Zoe managed to get Carly to admit to fancying Deek but when she tried to find out Deek's feelings for Carly it didn't look too promising. Shirley continued to fuss over George, who was acting a bit weird after his fall. Jo was obviously upset about something, despite Billy being the happiest man alive, but Ruth couldn't figure it out.

Ruth told Marty their landlord is selling the flat and they should buy it! He agreed on condition that Scott moved out. Living in marital bliss clearly wasn't on his mind later though when he continued to flirt with Iona and things nearly got steamy. As he tried to kiss her, she pulled away and told him to think of his wife. Eileen invited Shona to dinner with her and Raymond, and left them just long enough for their hormones to get the better of them and they shared a passionate kiss! They were nearly interrupted by Alanna, which spoiled the mood, and they still feel guilty about Roisin.

Scott interrupted a fight between Paul and Jamie, and got a cut on the cheek for his trouble. It was, admittedly, an accident but Paul didn't care. Scott told Eddie he needed to sort Paul out but it became clear that Eddie didn't need advice from Scott. In fact, it seemed Scott's place in Eddie's life isn't as important as poor Scott thought. Paul has even bigger plans though - he's decided to make things between him and Scott so bad that his dad has to make a choice, and Scott would be out of their lives for good. Duncan told Heather he was happy for her to go with them to Australia as long as she was fine leaving Versus and Gerry. He wasn't so happy when she suggested Gerry went with them, but then neither was Gerry. He reckoned he couldn't leave his work and was angry at having to fit into Duncan's plans. Either way, Heather's made her decision.
