Iona didn't turn up for work at Lazy Rays, choosing to work in Versus instead. Deek was angry but she spun a sob story and managed to get money out of him! When he tried to save face with Alanna, offering her more shifts, she managed to wangle a pay rise out of him. Iona turned her charms on Alanna and Zoe, too, plying them with free drinks at Versus, and entertaining them with celeb gossip. Deek was left out in the cold (and £40 poorer) as Iona told him they were having a girls' night out. Scarlett was really jittery and got angry with Jimmy when he tried to help. He eventually decided the trauma with Lenny was taking its toll on everyone, but hopefully she'll get a holiday if they manage to sell off Lenny's stuff.
Shirley and Fi got back from Millport and were full of tales of good food and great company. Alice seemed a little jealous but it was nothing compared to George. He was still fuming and refused to accept Fi was trying to be "just friends" with his wife. He wouldn't even talk to Shirley! Raymond and Shona both admitted to enjoying themselves the other night but it wasn't a date, oh no Raymond asked her if she wanted to do it again but it all seemed a bit awkward. Iona's teasing didn't help. Father Dominic approached Raymond about taking Liam on but he wasn't sure about having some "druggie" about the place. Eileen said if her kid was in trouble, she hoped someone would give them a chance.
Eddie and Jamie wanted to spend time with their dad, which Tina didn't seem too sure of but Jamie reassured her it didn't change how they feel about her. Eddie tried to talk to them about "the situation" but Jamie kept changing the subject. Paul was still nippy and cynical about it. Eddie also wanted to talk to an increasingly irritated Tina but she put him off till later in the week.
