George bravely decided to go back to work, just as Shirley was setting off on holiday. She couldn't wait for some time on her own. But just as she was about to leave, George freaked out when someone walked in front of his cab. He just sat there shell-shocked. Ruth was badly hungover and took a sick day. Marty and Malcolm had no sympathy for her after the way she behaved. Meanwhile, Jo was pretty smug cos despite Ruth's outburst, Billy was sticking to his belief that the baby's his. Nobody could spoil that for him. Ruth was doing her best though! She nicked Billy's medical file from the surgery and showed Marty the infertility results. Marty went mad and Ruth began to wonder if it's his baby, and is Marty only with her because he wants a baby?! She decides to stop taking her medication.

Charlie was green with envy of Kelly-Marie's new life but K-M was very uncomfortable talking about it. She admitted to Jimmy that Andrew was like a kid in a sweetshop and she's no idea what he's thinking. Then Andrew called to tell her about an 'at home with… ' magazine deal they'd got so she had to go back to Monaco immediately. Scarlett was devastated. Father Michael, his bags packed too, caught sight of her leaving Shieldinch.

Eddie and Scott had an awkward chat - Scott was freaked out that Jamie nearly caught them kissing. Eddie had a plan though - he'd decided to tell Tina and the boys they're together but it all seemed too soon for Scott. Paul dragged Jamie out to Shieldinch cos he was suspicious when Jamie told him he'd walked in on Eddie talking to Scott. Paul saw Scott going into the close and followed him in, using his own key. Scott had decided what he wanted - he would wait for Eddie - but Paul walked in and caught them kissing… Will he tell Jamie?
