Jo and Luca continued to wrestle with their feelings. Luca eventually got Jo to admit how she felt, but she said that nothing could happen because it would kill her mum and Ruth. He told her if she wouldn't be with him, he'd return to Italy. She begged him not to go, but he said it was her choice. Elsewhere, Dilip confided in Nikki that he planned to run away rather than return to India.

Deek told Bob that he had put an offer in on the old warehouse and planned to turn it into a cafe. He went to the Oyster and tried to get some trade secrets out of Scarlett, but she wasn't best pleased at his attempts at 'industrial espionage'. Alanna said that she was to blame for Roisin's condition. Eileen told her she was like her mum, blaming herself for things she didn't do. She said Alex was the only one to blame.

Gerry came to see Scott to apologise. Scott said Gerry shouldn't worry. He blamed himself for what happened with Eddie. Later, Scott told Marty that he'd made so many mistakes since he left home on Lewis for Glasgow. Marty told him not to worry. Eddie came to visit Scott. Scott told him to leave, but Eddie told Scott that he loved him and didn't want Scott to hate him. He said he'd needed time to work things out, but Scott didn't want to hear it.
