NickiEddieJo and Luca

Hazel had her divorce papers but she didn't look keen to sign them. She confided in Eileen that she thought there was still something between her and Vader. Vader was still talking about leaving Glasgow. When Hazel told him once he signed the papers he'd have no ties to Shieldinch, he hesitated. He said he wasn't in the mood. As far as Hazel was concerned, she'd proved her point. Charlie bumped into Bob at the café. He gave her a bacon roll and another bond was formed over their 'class' love of brown sauce and ketchup. But they STILL didn't ask each other out! George admitted to Malcolm that he'd been a right grump with Shirley about going on holiday. He knew he was being unreasonable but when Malcolm and Shirley tried again to talk him into it, he stormed off in the huff.

Andrew was in a foul mood - his foot injury meant he was out of play for the rest of the season and the last thing he wanted to do was read about it in the paper. Instead, he chose to get drunk and take it all out on Kelly-Marie. He told her it was all her fault and accused her of not wanting to go to France. Then he drunkenly letched over a girl in the club, to the disgust of both Kelly-Marie and the poor girl. Marty tried to sweet-talk Shirley into buying one of his holiday homes. She laughingly accused him of the hard sell. Gina was hesitant to invest but when she overheard him on the phone talking about how fast they were selling, she jumped in and signed away £5000. She confessed to Shirley that it was her life savings and didn't want Archie to know yet.

Scott was shut away in his room, hiding in misery. Ruth was concerned and when Harry turned up to see him, to apologise, she was angry and turned him away. Scott overheard. The salon was really busy and Shirley told Billy he'd have to get Luca back. Jo was moping as usual and refused to tell Billy what was wrong. Gina tried to find out what was up with Luca and was upset to hear him talk to returning to Italy. She offered him a job at the café but she thought he'd be far better back at the salon. He didn't want to do either. Jo went to tell Luca that it would break Gina's heart if he left. Finally, they talked about their kiss. She said she was completely messed up about the situation. She knows he loves her as a sister but the trouble is that's not what she wants. After some heart-stopping conversation, Luca admitted he loved her too… as a woman, not as sister. Awww!
