Zoe's preparations were well underway for her party but Nicki and Dilip had bigger plans - they invited loads of her neddy friends AND they've nicked some booze so they can enjoy the party, too. Needless to say, it got a bit messy. Deke snogged a random girl, and Dilip got so drunk he was sick. Freya told Heather she hated her, she'd overheard what she said to Duncan and didn't want to go to a home. Heather and Duncan were shocked and Heather told her she promised she'd never put her in a home. That seemed to satisfy her but Heather was concerned she'd disappoint her daughter. Heather signed the papers for Duncan and there was another bristling conversation with Gerry. He popped round to the flat later and found Heather, Duncan and Freya playing happy families so he left, leaving his keys behind.

Scott was very hungover and not in the mood to talk to Eddie. His drunken phone call had had repercussions though and Eddie's wife had found out the whole story. Eddie was furious. She still wasn't talking to him… understandably. Raymond was down about Roisin. She's not herself, she's lost her spark. Eileen told him she'd bounce back but he's not so sure. Roisin blamed herself for Alex abusing Alex. She was even worse when Alanna visited her - Roisin told her she doesn't deserve to be alive, this is her punishment! Alanna blamed herself and Raymond got depressed - they cried over a bottle of whisky. Gina was depressed cos she'd been trying on wedding dresses and she wants to slim for the wedding. She was still wary of the calories later, which amused Liz.

Gina asked Luca to help her out in the café and Jo quickly (too quickly) agreed to square the time off with Billy. But somehow when Billy asked about Luca, Jo told him he was off sick. She was really absent-minded and crabbit all day. Billy was annoyed with her and eventually decided she was jealous of Alisha, only cos Jo's not getting to spend time with her brother these days. He then had a go at Luca when he found him working in the café, found out Jo had lied so went back to the salon and fought with her. She said she was suffocated and quit her job. She started to walk out but Luca stopped her. He said he was the problem here so quit instead and walked out… Jo looked devastated.
