Bob and CharlieShirleyEddie and Scott

Bob finally met Charlie properly in Versus. They got on great - Charlie was impressed by Bob's business and Bob was pleased to see Charlie drinking lager. They shared the same patter and love of football, but all went wrong when Charlie admitted to loving Rangers. Can the Hoops' man see past that? Billy was worried about Jo cos she was in such a mood about meeting Luca and Alisha for drinks. Luca didn't look too happy either. Billy decided he could do something about it… so he bought a £6000 engagement ring. Surely that would put a smile on Jo's face? An uncomfortable Luca was told of the plan and put on champage duty when Billy popped the question at Versus. Despite the continuing frisson between her and Luca, all those diamonds made Jo's doubts miraculously disappear.

Meanwhile, Alisha was full of talk of India and Luca accepted an invite to her cousin's wedding over there. Kelly-Marie was concentrating on her French learning course but her attempts were hysterical. Deke offered to help her and she confided in him about the move to Monaco. Deke became worried about how the salon would manage without K-M, and he'd miss her. Andrew's foot was proving about as useful as K-M's French. Gina told Jo she wasn't up for looking at wedding dresses until she'd lost weight. Meanwhile, Shirley admitted to them she'd bought kinky undies to impress George. Unfortunately, no amount of lace and scented candles were going to drag George out of his depression. How could he enjoy himself when his Alice is in jail?

Bob and Deke talked about Vader - he's thinking of leaving Glasgow. Scott arranged to meet Eddie "when he could fit him in between his wife and his work". Eddie told Scott he wants to be with him but it's difficult. Scott told him he made him sick and felt sorry for his wife. Eddie explained he loved him but he had to think of his kids… if Scott could wait two/three years for him things would be easier and they could be together. Perfect timing: the kids interrupted the conversation and Scott didn't fall for Eddie's lame emotional blackmail. It's definitely over.
