Jo pretended to be ill so she wouldn't have to face Luca at work but Billy wanted to tell the world about their engagement. Jo couldn't cope with that so they agreed to wait till his divorce comes through. She couldn't hide forever from Luca and he cornered her for a chat. They agreed their kiss was an emotional, drunken mistake and they loved each other as sister and brother. Impulsively, Jo announced to the salon her engagement news. Luca was unimpressed and it doesn't look like their feelings are going to go away that easily… Marty and Ruth were worried about Scott, stuck on the sofa moping in front of daytime TV. Eddie was trying to get in touch but Scott didn't want to talk to him.

Gina's care helped lift his spirits and when he remembered what Raymond and Alanna were going through, he decided to go back to work at the Ship. There was still no change in Roisin's condition. Janet called the Ship and asked if Alanna would go to her dad's funeral. Eileen thought it might help her heal but it took a lot to persuade Raymond to even tell Alanna about it. Not surprisingly, Alanna freaked out. Deek was snowed under with Uni work and couldn't cope with his business AND essays. Zoe had an interview for a job at an old people's home and got it!
