Alanna and Raymond walked away from the explosion but Roisin wasn't so lucky - she was lying in hospital, in a critical condition. There was nothing anyone could do but wait… Alex was presumed dead and Alanna couldn't quite get her head around that - he was her dad but at least she was safe now. Raymond convinced her to go back to the Ship and everyone rallied round to help, even Hazel. She tried to offer Alanna advice but Alanna broke down and ended up confiding all about her dad hurting her. Meanwhile police were looking after the site of the explosion. Bob was upset at the loss of his old home and all of his stuff (which was uninsured - doh!) but the money McCabe gave him softened the blow. McCabe teased Scarlett and Jimmy about their relationship (when are they going to get together?) before he and Donna left Shieldinch.

Jo couldn't stop thinking about Billy and Della, and bent Luca's ear about it all day. She was convinced Billy was going to leave her but does she really love him? Luca had to boost her confidence as she got jealous of Della but told her she deserves more, if she really thinks Billy is in love with Della then maybe there wouldn't be a future for them. There were a few awkward moments between Jo and Luca. You'd be forgiven for wondering if they'd forgotten they're BROTHER and SISTER… Billy was flirting with Della, reminiscing about old times, trying to convince her they were a great team and they should be together again. He'd even run off to Spain with her!

Della told him she thought she should divorce him, they needed to both get on with their lives, he and Jo were the perfect couple and he should make an honest woman of her. They kissed but Della saw sense and ran off. Andrew and Kelly-Marie were happily spreading news of their engagement but it wasn't long before it turned sour. A wee game of football between Marty and Bob caused an accident and Andrew was soon limping. This could cause big problems for his medical in Monaco. Scott was still struggling to see Eddie - all his time seemed to be spent working - but was gutted with he bumped into Eddie outside the subway… with his wife and kids!
