Heather's new family life wasn't really going too well so the news of Duncan's return was welcomed. Gerry helped her out when Freya started asking questions about Mummy's disappearance but he told her she'd have to come up with answers soon. Kelly-Marie was flush with money and looking forward to a lovely family Christmas, which upset Bob - he felt really guilty about the problems he was causing. Scarlett was distraught to hear Lenny was trying to involve Bob in drugs but Father Michael was never far away, and determined to help. She told Lenny had to leave Bob alone but he started threatening her wee girl Kelly-Marie instead. When she told Jimmy, he took matters into his own hands and went to see Lenny.

He threatened him then head-butted him! It was a bit of a silly thing to do when Lenny's heavies were there - they started beating him up instead… Vader packed up all his stuff and talked about leaving Glasgow. He didn't have a clue what was wrong with Alanna and couldn't bear to be around the place. Roisin tried to persuade Alanna to move back to the Ship but Hazel was her excuse not to. George gave some money to Vader to help him sort himself out. He decided to visit some mates for a while but he'd be back. Alanna didn't seem bothered. She had more important things to worry about… and that got so much worse when she opened the door to an unwelcome visitor: Alex. Gina persuaded Archie to talk to Gerry about his job, which led to Heather finding out he'd quit.

Archie couldn't cope with the business on his own so asked Gerry back… but Gerry had a condition: he'd have to be made partner. It all seemed friendly enough but it's still not settled. Luca was happy to hear from Alisha but felt a bit left out when Jo and Billy were a bit coupley. He talked Jo into going tango dancing for the night! Shirley reckoned they looked like a couple when she walked in on them practising, and Jo just looked uncomfortable. Gerry confided in Scott about Heather's secret family - he doesn't know who Heather is any more! He had a heart-to-heart with her later and he got a bit closer to understanding what she was going through. He told her he was worried she'd walk out on him and she agreed to trust him in future.
