Alanna was even more distant and Vader just couldn't get anything out of her. Another letter from Alex upset her - he'd sent a postcard of red roses, along with red rose petals. Of course, this would be the day Vader tried to cheer her up with… yup, a bunch of red roses. She yelled at him and locked herself in the bedroom.

Archie blamed Gerry for Alice's sentence and his own humiliation at court. Gerry turned the tables - none of this would've happened if Archie hadn't got involved in the first place.

It doesn't look like it's going to be easy on either mother or daughter.
