Kelly-Marie was all excited about taking over Versus while Heather's away, with grand ideas about being her own boss, but her mood was spoiled when she read in the newspaper that Andrew might be transferring to Europe. Bob told her it could just be made-up or a scam to try to up his wages, but she was raging. She confronted Andrew but he told her he knew nothing about it. Anyway, if he was going anywhere he'd want her to go with him! That sorted her out but he had a secretive phone call with his coach about a meeting… and he looked very happy about it. A mysterious stranger turned up with a wee girl and was asking about Heather. That got Roisin and Scarlett gossiping about who he could be. Everyone worried about Alice's impending trial but she stayed strong and told everyone it'd be fine… well, that's what she said.

She admitted to Billy that she wanted to break down but had to keep herself together for everyone else. Billy promised to look after Deke if she went to prison. Jo spotted them hugging and had a go at Billy for not being there to support HER when she needed it. After all, Alice is guilty and deserves to be punished! Marty was fed up with Scott and Ruth's squabbles about Eddie so locked them in a room and told them to sort themselves out! They eventually made up and Scott admitted he's in love with Eddie. He then confessed his feelings to Eddie, who just kissed him and Scott looked like he'd burst with happiness! Gerry had to chase up a report about Alice and when it looked like it wasn't going to arrive in time, he lied and said she was stressed out and is going away for a few days after the trial - doctor's orders. That did the trick.

Deke was miserable about his Mum and about Hazel. Zoe was concerned about him and he apologised for the other night. She told him to forget about it - she has! He was really sorry for himself and convinced he's jinxed. Everyone he cares about leaves. Zoe told Hazel she's fed up with her and the way she treats people but it just meant Hazel directed her nastiness at Zoe. The mysterious stranger turned up at Heather's door and Gerry let him in, just as they were getting ready for their weekend away. Heather got upset when she saw him and we were stunned when he introduced himself to Gerry as Duncan… Heather's husband. And the little girl? Her daughter, Freya.
