Deke spent the night with Hazel and she pretended to be asleep when he left. Vader spotted Deke sneaking away and punched him! Alanna nursed her first legal hangover and told Raymond she'd decided to be strong and not let Alex ruin her life. Nicki offered to give evidence at Alice's pre-hearing but Alice told her no matter what Mac did, she'd done wrong and two wrongs don't make a right. Everyone would just have to be strong to get each other through. She went ahead and plead guilty. The next step would be the trial the following week. Gerry and Heather planned a romantic weekend away together, while Jo despaired that her and Billy's honeymoon period was over. Heather asked an excited Kelly-Marie to take charge of Versus while she's away.

Heather also had two mysterious phone calls - one 'no message' at the club and a 'number withheld' at home. Luca fished to find out what Alisha had said about him. Jo explained Alisha's been hurt by Cormac and Zak and she's not ready for another relationship. Luca took this as a challenge, to make her see how different he is. Jo looked like she'd prefer for him to give up. Deke asked Hazel out on a date but she refused, dismissing their night of passion as fun for old time's sake. He was gutted and declared his feelings for her. She told him she didn't care how he felt. Vader had a go at her about ruining Alanna's birthday but Hazel reckoned he was upset about her and Deke. She looked pretty smug when Alanna interrupted the conversation.

Marty tried to talk Gina into buying a holiday home from him. She was keen on the dream but didn't think it was practical. He said they'd figure it out between them and they decided to keep it as their little secret for now. Alanna demanded to know why Vader was bothered about Hazel. He couldn't explain it but reckoned the divorce was getting to him and it would be hard and Hazel would probably try to split them up again. Alanna was upset but he insisted he loved her and that he'd never let anybody hurt her. Deke told Zoe what happened between him and Hazel. He loved her and wanted to be with her… but she was using him and this was his last chance at love. How could anybody else ever love him. Zoe sympathised, told him he was wonderful, so he tried to kiss her!! She was NOT impressed.
