Vader, Alanna and RoisinCarly finds the pawn ticketLola and Glen

As Gerry had paid for Versus to get fixed up after the break-in, Heather wanted to make sure their business relationship was kept above board. She insisted that he draw up a loan agreement. Gerry was reluctant but he sorted out a contract. Gina told Archie she was keen to meet his mum and involve her in planning for the wedding. With Eileen now part-owner of the Grill, Hazel was thrilled to have her step-mum around. However, Roisin was far from pleased that Eileen had got her feet under the table at the Grill. She told Ray of her concerns that Eileen wouldn’t be happy until she’d got her mitts on The Tall Ship too, and she wouldn’t care about breaking up their family into the bargain. Ray tried to put her mind at ease. Alanna was shocked when she heard from Dillip that Arun had left Shieldinch – with her modelling portfolio! Under pressure from Vader and her mum, Alanna reluctantly agreed to shelve her modelling plans.

Archie and Gina asked Luca if he’d be the head usher at their wedding. He agreed. Marty approached Alanna with a proposition – one of his friends is a photographer. A green-eyed Ruth was suspicious. Glenn and Lola made loved-up last minute plans for the wedding day. Lola scolded her hubby-to-be about about not sorting out the honeymoon. She gave him the cash float from the shop to sort it out promptly. Eileen gave Glenn his pay-off lump sum. When he digged for extra cash, Eileen told him to get stuffed but she was suspicious of his haste in getting his hands of money. Could he be planning a getaway? His stepdaughter-to-be Carly remained suspicious of him. In the kitchen a pawn ticket fell out of Glenn’s coat pocket. It was for a gold ring. Carly jumped to the conclusion that it was for her mum’s engagement ring.

Heather shared her concerns with Joanne about Gerry, the money for Versus and needing some space. She was concerned about Gerry moving in and ensuring that her business remained her own. Joanne told her that it was normal for couples to share problems and that Heather ought to relax about the situation. Marty was talking babies again and ran his wife a bath to get her in the mood. Ruth sneaked away from the bathroom and rummaged in her bag: she slyly took the Pill. But Luca spotted her odd behaviour… Carly told her mum about the pawn ticket discovery: she reckoned that Glenn had flogged Lola’s engagement ring and was going to run out on her before the wedding. Upset, Lola told her daughter that she was disappointed about her suspicious behaviour and had had enough of her resistance to her fiancé. But was Lola beginning to have her doubts about him now?
