Ruth hadn't been seen since Malcolm's revelations and tensions ran high. Could the wedding blessing go ahead? Gina blamed Marty, even though he's devastated Ruth's missing and wanted to talk to her. Kelly-Marie, once again, prepared to meet Andrew's posh parents. Kelly-Marie and Scarlett actually curtsied when they were finally introduced! Andrew's Mum liked K-M but his father suggested he's just rebelling, going out with K-M like you'd get a tattoo. He told him he should sow his wild oats but her family's trash and not at all suitable. Andrew and his Mum were disgusted. Ruth texted Scott and he sneaked off to meet her at the boatyard. She was distraught, sure she'd screwed everything up. Scott told her Marty had been up half the night and obviously loved her.

When Marty found them he told her when they'd met she'd been like an angel, she'd saved his life (with a small elastoplast, by the sound of things), and now it's his turn to help her. He said the past doesn't matter, only their future counts. Awww! Ruth aplogised to everyone, Malcolm apologised to Ruth, Gina apologised to Marty and it was on with the wedding plans! Vader asked Alanna to move in with him but was gutted when she said no. Eventually he understood her reasoning: she wants them to enjoy being young. They've got everything ahead of them: living together, marriage, kids and a dog. Why rush? Marty pinned Scott against the wall for not telling him where Ruth was. He did apologise but it doesn't look like he's made a friend there. The happy couple put their troubles behind them and the wedding blessing went smoothly, led by the unconventional Father Michael.

The family agreed they'd still need to keep an eye on Ruth. Eileen was angry to find Glenn's been providing dodgy labelled wine. No pay rise for him and it puts a halt to all his big plans. Archie looked uncomfortable and jumpy so Gina was worried. When she saw him chatting to Eileen it only aroused Gina's suspicions. Jo tried to talked to Alisha about Cormac, which only upset her. She told Arun she'd let the man she loves walk out of her life. Arun, smarting from Alanna's rejection, reassured her but it looks like they're both unlucky in love. Jo confided in Luca that she's a little jealous of Ruth and Marty - will she and Billy ever have that happiness? Gina overheard Archie rehearsing a speech and confronted him, sure that he was going to finish things with her. She told him to put her out of her misery. So he did… by asking her to marry him.
