Jo, Malcolm and Gina continued to debate Ruth's sanity and happiness. Marty felt sorry they'd missed out on the wedding so suggested ANOTHER wedding - a blessing and reception so that everyone could be there. Ruth's ecstatic. Zak and Alisha tried to figure out their future - he loves her and she wants to make it work. But he realised he'll always be in Cormac's shadow and decided to step on that subway out of Shieldinch. Roisin got excited about the prospect of her Alanna being a top model but Alanna said she's still not made up her mind. She seemed preoccupied by Vader. Nicki was still upset, moping about the house while Zoe was beating herself up trying to make things right.

Eileen came up with a great idea! She suggested to Ray that she runs The Grill and insisted she'd forgotten what happened between them. He was speechless so she took that as a yes. Roisin was furious but had to go along with it. Arun had a very bad day - Alisha had a go at him, blaming him for messing up her life, Then he hassled Alanna again about modelling and slagged off Vader, so she promptly dumped him. Jo thought she'd have a girls' night out to get Ruth on her own to see how she really was. Marty was persuaded by Billy to have a night out with the lads. Scott opted to go out with the girls. Zoe decided to put Uni on hold till she got back on her feet and planned to stay on at the flat. She got a job waitressing at the Tall Ship and Vader got a new job at Wok My World.

Billy wouldn't tell Jo where the boys were going, and she seemed unhappy at the lack of attention. Boys and girls both turned up in Versus and Marty and Ruth were soon joined at the mouth again. He's dragged away and Ruth told Jo the boys had gone to the casino. Marty and her have no secrets… but Jo wonders if Marty knows Ruth's. Shirley tried to look after Nicki, sticking up for Zoe again. She explained Zoe couldn't avoid hurting her in her attempt to keep her safe. She obviously said something right cos Nicki apologised to her sister and they had a big emotional make-up. Jo caught Heather and Gerry gossiping about Ruth, wondering what Marty had let himself in for! Despite her misgivings, she stood up for her sister. Alanna turned up at Bob's caravan to see Vader. She burst right in and confidently proclaimed 'I want you!' It ended with a kiss…
