Honeymooners Marty and Ruth decided to have a drinks party so he could meet the family. Meanwhile Malcolm, Gina and Jo continued to worry about the new Mrs Green. Alanna looked happy to bump into Vader but got angry when Arun slagged him off. Arun reckoned that “with her looks and his talent, nothing could stop them.” Alanna was less than impressed. Ajay left town after explaining to Zak he was just trying to help. Zak was grateful but had to do things for himself. Ajay reminded him he only has one life. Zoe was beating herself about Nicki and couldn’t live with herself if anything had happened. Nicki refused to talk to her so when Alanna turned up, Zoe’s head was all over the place. Alanna complained that Arun is just too pushy about the modelling. She admitted to having something else on her mind. Is it Vader?

Zoe told Nicki she wants to put the past behind them, she’ll get a job and earn some money, but Nicki insisted Mac had done nothing wrong. She accused Zoe of destroying the family and told her Mac had revealed Zoe was sleeping around. Jo was shocked and upset to hear Cormac had left Shieldinch. He left a cuddly toy for Franco and a card, explaining he was “going on the run again” and was sorry about a lot of things. She was really upset and reckoned she hadn’t made time for him, she didn’t even give him the chance to say goodbye. Alisha threw Arun out the surgery cos he hadn’t approved of Cormac. He then had a go at Vader, accusing him of chatting up Alanna. “She’s going places and I don’t want her dragged down by a loser like you!” Alanna was mad when she found out. Nicki confided in Shirley that she was really confused and didn’t know who to believe. Shirley assured her Zoe just wanted the best for her and suggested Mac had made up the stuff about Zoe’s infidelities.

Marty and Ruth got glammed up for their drinks party. It didn’t get off to a good start when Malcolm asked Marty to explain why they married after just two weeks, without inviting them to the wedding. Alisha thanked Zak for helping her with Ajay. She admired him for always trying to do the right thing. After a drink at the Tall Ship, they went back to hers for coffee… but she fell asleep and missed his declaration of love. After Marty toasted his beautiful bride, the drinks party went well but, while Billy bonded with Marty, Jo was irritable and preoccupied by Cormac leaving. Hazel confronted Alanna, determined to make her she knew she’d destroyed her life. Nice. Alanna was pleading that she didn’t mean it. Hazel told her Vader had broken her heart - “don’t let it be for nothing“. Will Alanna follow her heart?
