Zak and AjayJulieMarty

Cormac told Glenn he had nothing to stay in Shieldinch for. Later, Arun told Cormac that Alisha was lying about loving Zak, but Cormac said it was too late. Ajay told Zak that he should be happy because he was back with Alisha, but Zak didn't seem so sure. Alice and Deek discussed Nicki. Deek said thay they needed to get Nicki away from Mac. Alice said they couldn't just go in and take Nicki away: that was abduction. Mac brought Zoe some lunch, and she screamed at him to go away. In the scuffle, she fell and banged her head. In the café, Gina had a look in Ruth's bag while she was outside, and found some postcards, including one of the Santa Celeste, the church where Ruth was supposedly married. Ruth caught Gina and shouted at her mum and making Gina flinch. Ruth realised that Gina was scared of her, and began to cry, saying she was stressed because Marty's plane was delayed.

Deek phoned Mac and arranged to meet him. When Mac left, Alice and Deek went to the flat to get Zoe and Nicki. Zoe realised what was happening, and told Nicki to get ready, but Nicki was reluctant, wanting to know what was going on. When Mac returned and found the girls gone, he realised what had happened. He stormed round to George's and attacked George, and then headed off to the Ship. As soon as Mac arrived, Nicki ran to him, saying she knew he'd done nothing wrong. Zoe realised she couldn't leave Nicki with Mac, so she reluctantly said she would go back to the flat with him. Mac told Alice to stay away from his family. However, just as they were leaving, Julie Anderson turned up. Alice was delighted, and Julie said she had to come to help Nicki. She explained that she'd had a child when she was 16, and Mac had abandoned her when he found out she was pregnant.

Luca phoned the Santa Celeste and discovered there hadn't been a wedding there for years. Gina and Malcolm were now certain that Marty was a figment of Ruth's imagination. In the Ship, Mac tried to protest that he'd done nothing wrong, but Deek said it was clear that Mac was interested in the girls when they were young, but when they were old enough to think for themselves, he left them. Mac tried to say that he'd never known about Deek when he was a baby, but Deek said it didn't matter. He had known about Sean, and he'd abandoned him. He told his Dad that although he loved him, he was disgusted by what he was. Zoe told Mac to leave. Cormac left Shieldinch as Alisha watched from the window. Meanwhile, Ruth was waiting for Marty, with Gina and Malcolm. Just as they had convinced Ruth to leave, someone called Ruth's name. It was Marty; looks like he is real after all. .
