Alice went into Lazy Ray's to try to speak to Deek. He was as forgiving as ever with his mum, and gave her money for a drink. She slapped him, and told him since he'd asked for her help, the least he could do was listen to her. She said Hunter had given her a name: Julie Anderson, Mac's former partner. Deek asked why they needed to contact this woman. Couldn't Alice just speak to Nicki? Alice said Nicki wouldn't listen to her. Cormac returned from hospital. Alisha told Gina that she'd insisted that Ruth see a psychiatrist before returning to work, and she hadn't given Ruth the time off as Ruth had suggested. Gina said that the family were beginning to think that Ruth had imagined the wedding and that Marty wasn't real. Andrew's parents were due to visit Scarlett's, and both Scarlett and Kelly were worried, although Jimmy told them to calm down.

Alisha asked Ajay about the attack on Cormac. He didn't deny it, and when she threatened him with the police, he said he'd bury Cormac. Later, when Cormac came to see Alisha, she said she was too tired to see him. Alice and Deek turned up at Julie's and explained the situation. Alice said that she wanted Julie to tell Nicki what Mac was like. It turns out that Julie was 16 when she met Mac, and he seduced her and then left her. Julie said that Mac was out of her life, and she wanted it to stay that way. As Julie got upset, a young boy came through and asked his mum why she was crying. The boy was Sean, Mac's son. Mac had told Julie not to tell anyone about the pregnancy, and then left her. Julie said she'd told Sean his dad was dead, and she wanted him to continue to think that.

Alisha heard Zak telling Arun that he was certain that Ajay would have killed Cormac if Zak hadn't stepped in. She called Cormac, and ended their relationship, then called Zak and told him she wanted him back. Cormac came round to her flat only to find her with Zak. Cormac challenged her to say she loved Zak. She insisted that he was doing the right thing, but Cormac said he didn't believe her. Vader asked Alanna if his split from Hazel changed anything. She said it would never change. Arun and Ajay returned to the flat. Ajay said he was pleased Alisha had seen sense. Alisha went mad, attacking Ajay and screaming that he needn't think he'd won. Zak asked what she meant. Meanwhile, Alice and Deek had been thrown out of Julie's after Alice tried to show Julie a photo of Nicki. Deek said not to worry, they'd find another way to get through to Nicki.
