Bob and VaderArun and AlishaZoe and Mac

Vader had spent the night at Bob's, and asked if he could stay for a bit longer. Bob wasn't keen because Hazel was a mate, but agreed it'd be OK for a while. Billy told Jo he was off into town and asked if she would cover at the salon. She started to protest that she had shopping to do, but backed down. Zoe saw Mac giving a necklace to Nikki, as a reward for doing well at school. When Zoe heard Nikki say "this is just like the one you got Zoe" she was totally horrified. Later, she tried to tell Deek she was worried for Nikki, but he didn't get what she meant. Hazel told Eileen and Ray that she'd separated from Vader. Eileen told Ray that it meant she'd be around an awful lot more. Alisha told Ruth that if she wanted to return to work, she had to see the psychiatrist.

Ajay, Zak's brother, arrived in Shieldinch, and visited the Shahs, telling Arun that he wanted a word with Alisha. It didn't sound as if the word he was going to use would be very pleasant, either. Arun told him to back off and mind his own business, and after he threatened Cormac, Alisha threw Ajay out. Zoe told Nikki they were leaving, but Nikki refused, asking why Zoe had to spoil everything. Later, Nikki told Mac that Zoe had been packing, and he pretended that Zoe had been seeing other guys behind his back, and she was feeling guilty and thought she should leave. He said they weren't splitting up. Malcolm told Gina that he thought that Ruth had invented Marty, and that her marriage was all in her head. Ajay sat in the Ship, waiting to talk to Cormac. Arun persuaded him to leave it, and dragged Ajay into town for a drink.

Mac asked Zoe why she was trying to frighten Nikki. She responded that she knew that he was trying to do to Nikki what he'd done to her. Mac acted innocent and twisted everything, saying Zoe was mad and he was just looking out for Nikki. The row turned physical, with Mac grabbing Zoe roughly to restrain her. Kelly worried to Scarlett that Andrew was ashamed of her and didn't want her to meet his parents. Scarlett angrily confronted Andrew, asking him who did he think he was that her Kelly wasn't good enough for him. He said she'd got it wrong: it was his parents that embarrassed him, not Kelly. As Zoe sat crying, Mac said he was sorry if he hurt her, he'd just been calming her down. He said he couldn't stand it if Zoe and Nikki left, he loved them both, and she should trust him. Zoe just sat there, terrified.
