Billy and ShirleyAlishaJo and Ruth

Vader asked Hazel why she hadn't told him about losing the baby. She told him she'd been too scared to. She asked him what the future held for them, but he said he needed time. Billy told Jo she deserved a break and said he'd booked her into a health spa. Gina offered to go away with Ruth, but Ruth said she needed to be alone. As a compromise, Ruth agreed to go and visit Franco's sister. Kelly told Hazel she didn't want to know her until she told the truth. Billy asked Jo what she thought about giving Alice a job. Jo said no way. Later, Shirley privately told Billy that she thought giving Alice a job was one of his better ideas.

Arun and Alanna met Alisha in the Grill for a meal. Arun made an idiot of himself when he had a go at Cormac who was flirting with Alisha. Alisha told Arun to keep his nose out of her business, but Arun reminded Alisha about 'her agreement' and later phoned someone and said that they needed to talk. What's going on? Jo decided to arrange a dinner party and invited Heather and Gerry, much to Billy's annoyance. Luca helped Jo shop for food for the party, and tried to stir up trouble by asking about Alice and Billy's relationship. In Ruth's flat, Ruth waited for Jo to come round and see her off, and worried that her sister wasn't coming.

Hazel announced to everyone in the Ship that she'd been wrong about the pregnancy. Eileen cornered Vader, who said it'd been a miscarriage. Billy found Jo crying about Ruth. He told her to go and see Ruth before she left, but Jo said Ruth'd had enough chances. Roisin told Eileen she knew what she was up to with Ray. Heather and Gerry came round for Jo's dinner party. Heather asked about Ruth, and when Jo said she wasn't well, Heather described Ruth as 'evil'. Jo didn't like anyone badmouthing her sister, and threw Heather and Gerry out. She raced round to Ruth's flat, just in time to say goodbye to her sister.
