Kelly Marie said that Hazel had to come clean to Vader about not being pregnant. Mac told Zoe that Alice had started drinking. Zoe said it was their fault, but Mac said they couldn't be blamed for anything Alice had done. George spoke to Alice about her drinking, but she said she had no family and no reason to stop. Gina went to get her hair done for a date with Archie. It was clear Luca did not approve, and later he warned Gina to be wary of Archie. Harry went to see Gerry for advice about Ruth, and Gerry told him to get a restraining order.

Hazel told Vader she'd heard everything he said to Cormac about not wanting the baby. She said she knew he wanted her to get rid of the baby. Zoe talked to Deek about Alice, and pointed out the similarities with her own mum. She told Deek to be thankful Alice was still alive. Gerry went to collect the last of his stuff from Ruth's. The pair argued, and Ruth told Gerry she knew why he hated her so much: he fancied her but couldn't handle it. Later, Gerry told Heather about her comments. Heather laughed them off, saying Ruth was mental, but Gerry wondered what Ruth might do.

Deek and Zoe talked to Mac about helping Alice. Mac said he didn't understand why they were bothering and tried to talk them out of it, but Zoe and Deek refused to listen, and resolved to help Alice. Vader told Hazel he'd be with her every step of the way throughout the pregnancy, but she said she couldn't expect him to do that, and said she'd call the clinic. Heather told Jo that she thought Ruth might be losing it again. Jo found Scott, who admitted that Ruth had hit him. Jo broke down, and said she had to help Ruth before something really bad happened…
