In the surgery, Alisha complained to Ruth about Alice's lateness. Gina arranged for Malcolm and Eileen to meet Luca. Malcolm remarked that Luca looked just like Franco, but Eileen warned that Luca must be after something. When she said that she though Luca had come to claim his inheritance, Malcolm told her she was jealous. Hazel returned to the Ship with Vader. Ray refused to let him in but Hazel told him to back off. Jo suggested to Billy that Luca would be an asset in the salon, but Billy told her he wasn't going to offer Luca a job. Shirley bumped into Alice, who told her to stop interfering.

Vader told Hazel they needed to talk, but she was only interested in hearing him say he would never leave again. He went to Bob's garage for some peace, where Bob told him he was doing the right thing in sticking by Hazel. Ruth was unhappy at the amount of attention Luca was receiving. Roisin worried about Alanna's reaction when she returned and found Vader in the pub. Eileen took the opportunity stick her nose in to offer Roisin some 'advice' about Alanna. Later, Eileen also annoyed Cormac by interfering with the running of the kitchen.

George went to see his daughter after Shirley voiced her concerns, and managed to talk her round. However, Alice's good mood was short lived. As she phoned Shirley to apologise for her earlier outburst, she spotted Mac, Zoe and Nikki across the street. Alanna came home from school and Vader said they needed to talk. Despite Ray's objections, Roisin said that they needed to sort it out themselves. Vader told Alanna that although he loved her, he had made vows to Hazel and he couldn't break them again. The pair hugged goodbye, unaware that Hazel was watching them…
