Eileen visited Gina and tried to talk to her, asking if they were OK. Gina said they were, but said there was nothing much she could do since Eileen was family. Oh dear. Hazel was determined to go back out looking for Vader so Bob went with her. In the café, Scarlett stirred it up with Ruth by hinting that Gina had a fancy man. Ray took a call from someone trying to claim a reward for seeing Vader. He was furious, and blamed Alanna for the scheme even though she denied it. In town, Vader ran into the gang who'd attacked Bob and Hazel. The leader, Mez, had a go at Vader, but Vader thumped him. Bob found Vader, but Vader warned him not to say anything to Hazel. He said she was better off without him.

Eileen and Malcolm saw Gina's Italian friend arrive in Shieldinch, and Eileen in particular was very interested. Later, she asked Ruth if she knew anything, but Ruth just said if her mum did have a new man, Eileen might try and keep her hands off him this time. Bob found Vader, who told him to leave him alone. Jo decided Kelly's relationship with Andrew was a business opportunity for Moda Vida. She told Billy Andrew would be the perfect celebrity model for the salon. Later, she invited herself out with Andrew and Kelly and spent the whole time talking about haircuts, much to the embarrassment of Billy. However, Andrew was only interested in Kelly and gave Jo the brush off.

In the Ship, Alanna took a call from someone with information about Vader. Hazel also got a call on her mobile, and both went to try and find him. Gina introduced Ruth and Jo to Luca. At first they thought Gina had found herself a toy-boy, but Gina explained Luca is Franco's son. Jo was overwhelmed that she had a brother, but Ruth wasn't pleased. In town, Hazel met Vader, who told her to go. However, before anything else could happen, Mez attacked Vader, but Hazel got in the way and got caught by Mez's knife. Vader held Hazel and screamed for someone to call an ambulance. Alanna watched from a distance and looked miserable to see Vader with Hazel.
