Jo wondered how Shirley could own half of the salon without Billy knowing about it. She continued to let Shirley wind her up in the salon, and Billy told her to get a grip on herself. Ray asked Roisin why she hadn't told him about the affair between Alanna and Vader. Scarlett tried to persuade Donna to talk to McCabe, but Donna didn't want anything to do with her dad. A stranger turned up in Shieldinch, and proceeded to give Heather and Kelly Marie the benefit of his charm.
Alanna told Vader she needed to see him, so he headed over to the Ship, only to get thrown out on his ear by Ray. Ray asked Eileen to come and talk to Hazel. In the pub, McCabe and Jimmy discussed fatherhood. McCabe said Jimmy was lucky not to be a dad; at least he could still pretend that he might have been a good one. Jimmy asked Scarlett to put Donna up for a night. She reluctantly agreed, not wanting to let Donna down, but wary of having anything to do with McCabe.
Vader went to see Bob and told him what had happened with Alanna and Hazel. Bob had no sympathy for Vader, and neither did Deek, who turned up at the caravan later and made no secret of his feelings. When Vader called them both hypocrites, Deek lost it and punched Vader. Ray laid down the law to Alanna and told her she wasn't to see Vader. Downstairs in the bar, Lola came in, looking for Roisin. It seems that she's pretty friendly with the 'stranger': he's Glen, her boyfriend.
