Alice tried to speak to Lewis in the street, but he blanked her. Jo had a go at Billy when she found a present for Della's baby. He told her to calm down and not to be so dramatic. Later, he gave the present, a Christening tankard, to Della. He offered to leave Glasgow with Della and Sammy, and would love the baby like he was his own. However, she said that their time together was over, despite the fact that they still loved each other. It was time to move on for them both. Lewis sought advice from Gerry, who told him he had no chance of getting custody of the baby. Alice got a visit from the police, who were less than sympathetic, and implied she had known abut the pornography.
Jimmy cooked lunch for Scarlett, Bob, Deek and Kelly. Lewis persuaded Cormac to speak to Della on his behalf and try to get her to let him see the baby. Lewis just wanted some news about his son, and any information he could get would do. The police visited Scott in the pub to take a statement. Alice had stopped by to see Ray, and was horrified to find Zoe there, visiting Alanna and Nikki. Alice told Zoe she was trash, and informed the police that Zoe was Mac's girlfriend. After being threatened with putting Nikki into care, Zoe told the police where Mac was staying. Della and Billy bid a tearful farewell to each other, observed by Jo who was not impressed.
Cormac, having been to see Della, told Lewis that the baby was fine, but that mother and son were leaving. Lewis begged Cormac to take him to the airport so he could see his son. Reluctantly, Cormac agreed, but on the condition that Lewis didn't cause a scene. On the way to the airport, Cormac took a phone call, and then turned the car around. A shocked Lewis asked what he was doing. It turned out that Cormac had only agreed to pretend he'd help Lewis to keep him occupied whilst Della made her escape. Back in Shieldinch, a furious Lewis decided to take it out on his old enemy, laying into Billy Davies before Cormac could break up the fight.
