Hazel was worried about Vader. He seemed depressed, and wasn't interested in Hazel, ignoring her when she tried to talk to him. Bob was working all hours to have enough money to keep Kelvin, Michelle and the baby. Kelly told him to take a break or he'd do himself an injury. Michelle told Kelvin he had to get a job, and that she owed much to Bob. Later, she told Bob that Kelvin would be staying a couple of weeks at most. Shazia gossiped to Heather about Della. Heather said she knew a few things about Lewis Cope, and he wouldn't be her choice of man. Shazia asked Heather if she shouldn't warn Della. Later, Heather phoned Della and asked her out for a drink. Alanna told Vader that he was married, and had to stay away from her.

Archie was off to a posh Burn's do, and called in on Gina. He told her he'd accepted the invitation before they were 'an item'. Gina was delighted that he thought of them in that way. Alice, Mac, Zoe and Nikki headed to Roisin's Burn's Night at the Ship. Zoe couldn't stand seeing Alice and Mac together, and pinched a bottle of whisky and went to drink it outside with Alanna. She told Alanna she was seeing someone, but he was with someone else. Alanna told her to stay away from him. Back in the pub, the evening was going well, although George was unhappy that Roisin wasn't following the proper traditions. Alanna told Zoe to go easy on the whisky, but she didn't listen. Alanna had to fetch Alice and Mac when Zoe started throwing up.

Alice went completely mental with Zoe, and told her she was grounded. Della told Lewis she was going out to meet Heather. He made a few comments about Heather's trustworthiness, and Della realised that he didn't want her to see Heather. He explained to Della that Heather bore a grudge after Lewis had sacked her. Della accepted his explanation, and told Heather she couldn't meet her. In the pub, Hazel tried to tempt Vader with an early night, but he wasn't interested, staying up by himself watching television whilst she lay awake wondering what was wrong. Mac helped Zoe home and sat with her to make sure she was OK. In her drunken state, Zoe told Mac she thought he was the best person that she'd ever met, and that she was in love with him.
