The mysterious stranger hanging round Bob and Michelle's turned out to be Kelvin, Michelle's brother. He was out of a job and with nowhere to live, and was staying at the caravan. Lewis told Heather if she didn't her business off his property he'd phone the police, as he was sure they'd be interested in what she was doing. Eileen visited Gina, supposedly to apologise for bringing Malcolm round, but really to find out whether or not her plan to spoil the evening had succeeded. She was delighted to hear Archie had left early. Deek asked Bob how long Kelvin was staying for. Bob was defensive, but it was clear that Kelvin was already making himself a nuisance. Alice announced she was taking Nikki to the panto. Zoe was angry, and Mac told Alice she was insensitive not to have asked Zoe along. Alice said she'd assumed Zoe was too old for all that.

Alanna told Ray and Roisin she wanted to start dancing training again. She said she was spending too much time in the pub. Vader overheard and realised that he was the reason Alanna wanted time away from the Ship. Bob asked Michelle how long Kelvin was going to stay, and told her that they couldn't afford to have him staying there without chipping in for food and bills. Michelle pleaded with Bob, and he relented. Lewis was fussing over Della, however, he seemed more concerned about the baby than Della herself. Heather asked Scarlett if she'd keep the DVD equipment at her flat. Scarlett said no, but Heather said she'd make it worth her while. Kelly worried that Jimmy was getting too close, but Scarlett assured her that she was in control. In the office, Eileen and Archie continued to wind each other up as Eileen worked her notice.

Alice and Nikki left for the pantomime, so Mac and Zoe decided to get a video. As they talked, Zoe cried as she told Mac about finding her mother's body. They went to kiss but were interrupted by Alice and Nikki, back from their night out. Bob tried to tell Kelvin he had to leave. Kelvin deliberately misunderstood Bob and agreed to give Bob and Michelle one night alone. Eileen had another go at Archie, and pinched his car keys. She dropped them down her top and told him if he wanted them, he could get them. Archie's willpower being what it is, it wasn't long before Eileen got her wicked way, although she was furious when afterwards, Archie took a call from Gina and accepted a date. Determined to get revenge, she phoned the law firm she was supposed to be moving to, and told them she would be staying at Buchanan Associates.
