The Adams family gave Michelle and the baby a proper first Christmas in the mobile home. The season of joy was absent in the Henderson household, with Roisin frantic on discovering that Alanna's bed hadn't been slept in. Cormac proudly revealed to Shirley, George and Deke that he and Della were going to have a baby. Shirley, meanwhile, urged Della to tell Cormac the truth and to get in touch with Lewis. Hazel was cynical about Alanna running off and she rowed with Vader, branding Alanna an attention seeker. Vader later discovered a terrified and desperate Alanna cowering in George's garage. She pleaded with him to help her run away. At the Henderson's, Alice got a cool reception from Deek, but George was more welcoming and gave her a festive kiss. Ray and Alex chewed the fat over Alanna, and Alex was keen to suss out if Alanna had had many boyfriends.

At the Café, the festivities were going splendidly. However, the party was interrupted by Eileen's dramatic entrance with Callum in tow. Archie and Gina were less than pleased at her sudden arrival. Callum, meanwhile, was cynical about Eileen's reasons for ditching the romantic hotel trip at the last minute, indicating that he knew the true reason - her feelings for Archie. Jo proposed that Billy move into her spare room. Heather told McCabe of her concerns about Stevie, making McCabe suspicious. Gina was less than impressed with Eileen's present - a pair of granny-style pyjamas. Stevie was shifty throughout the celebrations, and he took off into the night, leaving Kelly worried. Bob proposed to Michelle with a ring from a cracker; she accepted. Scarlett was shocked but delighted. Meanwhile, Cormac's proposal to Della went wrong when she fled in tears.

When Alex made some dodgy comments about his relationship about Alanna, Ray began to notice that his interest in her stretched beyond the normal. Ray made his excuses and left. Realising Ray had suspicions, Alex decided to leave with Janet in a rush. Meanwhile, Ray caught Vader smuggling out some food. He demanded Vader take him to Alanna. Ray told Alanna that he knew what Alex had done to her. In distress, she protested that she didn't want Roisin or the police to know, or she would kill herself. Ray promised that he would get rid of her stepdad. When they returned to The Ship, they ran into Alex and Janet. Ray attacked Alex, calling him a pervert. Alex swore undying love to Alanna, as his wife watched in horror and shock. Ray forced them out of Shieldinch.
