Alanna was in a tizzy. She was under pressure from Ray and Roisin, thanks to intervention from her adopted parents, to seriously consider returning to Aberdeen. Michelle was all packed and ready to head to her new flat with the baby. When Callum asked Eileen to come away to a hotel with him at Christmas, she hesitantly agreed. A green-eyed Eileen, however, was more interested in flinging herself at her boss. She went ballistic at Archie for going out to dinner with Gina. When Archie told her there were no strings between them, she reluctantly agreed with him that they weren't in love. She gave Archie a farewell peck, which resulted in a full-blown snog; Archie didn't quite manage to put her off then… Della was delighted to be off for her first scan. Zoe fretted about the school parents' evening.

Mac and Alice proudly returned from the school with glowing reports about Zoe. Before heading to her new flat, Michelle gave Bob a framed picture of Rochelle, Bob and herself as a thank you present. Alanna was in turmoil about the decision awaiting her. She got very upset with Janet when pressed as to why she was so against returning with them to Aberdeen. Ray and Roisin were sad, but convinced that Alanna would have a better life with Janet and Alex. Gerry McGrade advised Kelly that the only way to help Stevie out was to grass him up to the police when the next drug delivery arrives. McGrade pointed out to Kelly that Stevie would be better off busted and in jail, than continuing to be in McCabe's clutches; this could lead to Stevie ending up six feet under.

Kelly tried to find out when McCabe's next drug delivery was due. Heather didn't want to rock the boat with McCabe by admitting anything. Gina was chuffed when Archie agreed to spend Christmas with her. Bob told Michelle she was making the wrong decision moving into a flat far away. He gave her a surprise; he'd renovated a mobile home for her in Shieldinch. Michelle was over the moon. She asked Bob to move in with her and he agreed. Ray caught Alanna rummaging in a pocket and he accused her of returning to her old ways. Upset, he told Alanna that he couldn't wait for her to leave. A devestated Alanna ran off into the night. Della's first scan revealed that she is, in fact, six months gone. She confessed to Shirley that Lewis Cope, not Cormac, is the baby's father.
