Michelle started to pack to leave with baby Rochelle. Kelly convinced Michelle to ask Bob for dinner, in the hope he'd reveal his true feelings before she left. Alanna's mum brought out the family photo album to show Roisin and Ray. She revealed that Alanna is a great dancer and that it's her ambition to go to dance school, but she'd have to move back to Aberdeen to achieve her dream. Roisin was upset to hear about the plans for the dance school, but told Ray it was up to Alanna to decide what she wants to do. Kelly told Stevie he had to do something about McCabe's threats. Gina spotted Jo getting close to Billy and warned her to stay away, but Jo was having too much fun to take any notice. Hazel told Vader she thought that Alanna's dad was creepy. Alanna overheard and screamed at Hazel that he's a good man, before running off.

Gina finally plucked up the courage to ask Archie out to dinner. Later, Eileen asked him for a drink, so he turned her down, but didn't reveal that he was going out with Gina. Michelle told Bob she was cooking him dinner that night and they could have a proper talk. Della got confirmation from the doctor that she was pregnant. However, she was anxious about Cormac's reaction. But she needn't have worried, Cormac was over the moon to hear that he was to be a dad, even if a little put out that Della was taking Shirley to the first scan and not him. The claws were out when Jo met Della in the street. After exchanging insults, Della said Jo was welcome to be with Billy - she couldn't care less about him. Ruth had a flash of the green eyed monster when she realised Harry was chatting to Kelly Marie. Scott advised her to back off and trust him.

Mac convinced Zoe that Alice was truly sorry for hitting her. Later, Zoe told a relieved Alice that she isn't leaving. George was worried about Derek as the anniversary of Moira's death approached. He asked Derek to spend Christmas with him and Shirley. By the end of the day there were two offers on the table for him, as Scarlett wanted Derek to spend Christmas at the Adams' house - but he kept them both waiting for an answer. Callum and Eileen popped into the Tall Ship for a drink, but they didn't stay long when Eileen spotted Gina and Archie having a cosy dinner together. Bob was called away to a 'mystery job', just as he was due to go home for dinner with Michelle. Derek was supposed to pass the message on, but by the time he remembered, he was drunk and it was too late. Michelle was already raging at Bob and was more determined than ever to get her own place…
