Michelle was flat-hunting for a new home. Bob was helping her look, but he didn't want Michelle and Rochelle to leave. Alanna's parents turned up unexpectedly, but Ray was determined to make them feel welcome. Kelly Marie ran into McCabe and stood up for herself and Stevie, but he still threatened her. Zoe was still not speaking to Alice, after their row when Alice had slapped her. Alice apologised again, but Zoe was determined to move out and take Nikki with her. Later, Nikki tried to persuade Zoe to forgive Alice, but to no avail. Billy and Della exchanged insults, with Della making it quite clear that it was his last chance to move any stuff out of the flat.

McCabe reminded Gerry in a not-so-friendly way to stay out of his business and that included flirting with his staff. Roisin was distressed about Alanna's parents being in Shieldinch and thought they'd want to take her home. To ease Roisin's worries, Ray invited Alanna's parents to stay for Christmas, which they accepted. Later, Roisin gave Ray an earful for inviting them without consulting her. Callum laughed off both Kelly Marie and Scott's suggestion that Eileen was seeing Archie. Vader found Alanna crying and distressed, but she wouldn't tell him what was wrong. Michelle decided to take the flat she'd seen, even though Bob was trying to put her off it.

Kelly Marie told Michelle that Bob loved her, but he didn't have the guts to tell her himself. Eileen pretended to be offended by Gina's suggestion that she was interested in Archie. Shirley was concerned about Della's health and suggested that she might be pregnant, but Della dismissed the idea. Gerry was raging about McCabe's threat. He told Kelly Marie that something needed to be done about McCabe's behaviour. Later, Della decided to take a pregnancy test and sure enough, it was positive. Alanna's dad gave her a friendship ring and called her 'daddy's little angel'. She was clearly distressed by his comments and ran off to be sick afterwards.
