Callum woke up with a mother of a hangover, but with no idea that Eileen had slept with Archie. There was sore heads for everyone who'd been at Ruth's party. All except Derek, who was feeling incredibly left out of the social circle. His businessman façade broke for a moment when he shed a tear in front of Shirley and confessed how lonely his life was. Hazel had plans for a cosy night in with Vader, but her idea was scuppered when he agreed to help Alanna with her schoolwork. Policeman Harry paid Ruth an on-duty visit, but this time he didn't want to arrest her, he just wanted her phone number to arrange a date. Ruth was chuffed to bits.
Derek suggested Kelly Marie could star in some adverts for Lazy Rays. However, he wasn't so impressed with her hangover, so he sent her home. Kelly Marie was soon enjoying a 'hair of the dog', with Hazel who turned up to to rant about Vader. A bottle of vodka later and Hazel was in no fit state to enjoy the dinner Vader was busy preparing for her back home. Eileen was paranoid that Gerry knew what had happened between her and Archie. Later, Eileen told Archie she was ashamed of betraying Callum and that it couldn't happen again. Archie wasn't feeling so guilty and after a flirty chat, he was soon kissing Eileen again. Zoe told Vinnie that she only blackmailed him to help her family.
Vader not only found Hazel drunk at Kelly Marie's, but he also found himself on the receiving end of a torrent of abuse from his wife. She accused him of being bored of married life and getting too close to Alanna. Vader denied it all and stormed off home, leaving Hazel to stay drinking with Kelly. Stevie was in a no-win position when he agreed to meet Jimmy. He discovered that he was there to learn a lesson in loyalty. Jimmy was apparently acting on McCabe's orders to find out if Stevie was 'with them or or not'. But Stevie didn't have much time to decide, as Jimmy and his gang started beating him up and kicking him to the ground
