AliceHeather and ScarlettMcCabe and Stevie

Michelle worried that she wouldn't be able to look after Rochelle properly, but Bob reassured her that he would help. Alice confronted Vinnie about his drug abuse. He initially denied it, then said he could handle it. She told him to sort it out. If he didn't, she couldn't allow him to put patients in danger; she'd tell the police. Shirley went to see Della. Della told her that the baby had gone. Shirley told Della she was proud of her, but Della said Billy had made her give the baby back. Shirley went round to see Billy in the salon. He said it wasn't all his fault, and that it had been Della who wanted the baby. Shirley told him she hated him because his womanising and gambling had destroyed Della.

Ruth asked Vinnie if he was OK. He told her that as far as his family was concerned, he was a failure. Ruth said that was rubbish, and that he'd made a huge difference in Shieldinch. Mac told Alice she should go to the police and tell them about Vinnie. She said she was going to give him a chance. Harry and Kelly decided they would be better as friends and arranged to go for a drink later. Scarlett told Heather she wanted to quit the DVD business. Heather asked why. When Scarlett told Heather it was because of Billy, Heather told Scarlett to take a few days off till she felt ready to come back. Heather tols Scatlett not to worry. She would sort out Billy Davies in time.

Deek asked Kelly to go for a drink but, annoyed at the way he'd been bossing her around , she told him to stuff it. Shirley told Deek not to take Kelly for granted; good staff were hard to find. McCabe took Stevie for a meal. He told Stevie that he was going to promote him to a "special position". Mac told Alice he would support her in her decision to help Zoe and Nikki. Zoe overheard and said they'd move out if they were causing trouble, but both Alice and Mac said that they wanted the girls to stay. In the surgery, Vinnie prepared a hit of morphine. He filled a syringe, but instead of injecting himself, he smashed the syringe onto the floor in a fit of rage.
