Mac waited at Alice's with Nikki whilst Zoe and Alice went to the hospital. Nikki said her mum had overdosed tons of time, so she'd pull through again this time. However, Zoe and Alice returned with terrible news; the doctors had done everything they could but Patricia was dead. Kelly picked out a dress for her date with Harry. She was going to go for dinner then on to a club with Hazel. Deek made a few bossy comments and told her not to stay out late- she had work in the morning. Scarlett found out that Billy's name was on Rochelle's birth certificate and realised he'd told her to keep quiet about the baby for his own sake. Alice suggested that Zoe and Nikki should stay with her and Mac for the time being.

Heather told McCabe about Billy and the baby. McCabe was worried about unwanted attention from the police. Alanna was bored and offered to help out in the Grill on her day off. When Kelly and Harry came in on their date, Alanna flirted with Harry, and even sat down at the table with him when Kelly went to the toilet. Ray and Roisin noticed that Alanna was taking an interest in Harry. Roisin bought Alanna's story about it being all Harry's doing, but later, Ray told Alanna that if she was going to cause trouble again then she'd be sent back up to Aberdeen in no time. Deek was too busy to go drinking with Bob, which led Bob to ask where his old friend Derek Henderson had gone, adding that Deek needed to get a girl.

Scarlett told Billy she knew he didn't care about her at all. Billy agreed that she must have been daft to thik her loved her. He threatened to tell Kelly about their affair if Scarlett dared say anything about the baby, knowing that Kelly would hate her mum for it. Later, Kelly put her foot in it by saying to Hazel that she couldn't imagine being with one guy for the rest of her life. Della met Cormac for a drink in the Ship. After a good chat, Cormac suggested that they meet again soon, but Della went one step further and invited him up to the flat. Meanwhile, Billy decided he should try and patch things up with Della, and came up to the flat, only to be shocked at seeing Cormac coming out of the bedroom. Billy left the flat in tears.
