Michelle had moved in to Scarlett's. Ruth, Jo and Franco visited Gina. Gina said that all the trouble had been worth it, because her family was now back together. Ruth offered to take time off to look after Gina, but Jo said she would do it, because it always fell on Ruth to do everything. Kelly teased Bob about Michelle. Bob said he was serious about Michelle, and asked Kelly to be nice to her, so Kelly offered to give Michelle a makeover. Cormac asked Jo when she was moving back in. However, she said she wanted to stay with her mum and Ruth for a while. Cormac worried that this meant Jo wanted to finish things. Deek told Alice he wasn't going to Uni, and he had only said that to get Mac out of Shieldinch. She told him whatever he thought of his family, he shouldn't throw away his future.
Kelly told Michelle she had better not hurt her brother, because he was obviously inexperienced compared to Michelle. Michelle burst into tears, and said that the baby's father had been her only boyfriend, and although she thought he would marry her, he left her when she was pregnant. Kelly comforted her. Shirley told Della that she needed a night out with Billy. At the portable building, Scarlett and Billy's dodgy DVD business was up and running, with Scarlett doing most of the work. Billy flirted with Scarlett, but she knocked him back. Deek told Bob he realised it would be a mistake not to go to Uni. Kelly presented the newly made over Michelle to Bob. He was amazed at how gorgeous she looked, and asked her out for a meal. At the Grill, Della saw Michelle with Bob. She got totally paranoid about it, so Della and Billy left.
Michelle told Bob that Della would make a better mother than she would, but he disagreed. He said Della was "all designer gear but no heart". Scarlett was meeting a pal in Versus, and bumped into Billy and Della. She said it was nice that they could get out. She told them that she understood, since she had a houseful of kids, including Deek and Michelle. Della was convinced Michelle was hanging around on purpose, to send some sort of message about the baby. Della went home in a panic. However, Billy stayed, and took his chance to tell Scarlett that his marriage was a joke. Cormac, also in Versus to drown his sorrows, told Billy he should be with his wife and kid, and Scarlett left. Billy attacked Cormac, and told him what he did and who he flirted with was nobody's business. If he wanted Scarlett, he was going to have her
